HEALING ART
Much of my creative work acknowledges the power of art to heal not only the spirit, but also the mind and body. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997, I immersed myself in creative process—painting, movement, poetry, sculpture and group work. Creative work was profoundly healing and I will be ever grateful for the love and support of my fellow artists, friends and family…I would not be here without all of you.
